Chessie
has always been breeder/owner handled. Since finishing her Championship,
she has had two litters of puppies and dabbled as a Special. In addition to
the huge win at the National this year, from the veteran class, Chessie has
had a Specialty Best of Breed win at the Keystone English Springer Spaniel
Club Specialty in October, 2007, and a Group IV placement at the Valley
Forge KC, in September 2007. Chessie can also boast numerous Best in
Veteran Sweepstakes and has won the Veteran Classes as well.
Aside from her show
career, Chessie was an excellent, doting mother and is a sweetheart to live
with. She like to boss the other dogs around and usually gets her way. She
loves to eat, play with frisbees and watch TV. This year she has taken up
Agility, and she loves it with a passion. Hopefully, in the next year or
so, she will be ready to compete in Agility too.
